Sharing My Feeling

Pyar Ustazah,
Assalamu alaikum
It is impossible to fully express the greatness and grandeur of Qur’an I feel everyday during Dawra-e-Qur’an. I get so much peace and security, illumination and enrichment, passion and excitement from each Juzz. When I try to comprehend the marvelous wonders of Qur’an, its detail and all encompassing and wise commands, and then the Majesty of Allah as He has sent the Qur’an, it is His Grand Book, His awe-inspiring Words, I am left absolutely humbled, subdued, bend, scared and silent. This Book is so Holy, so divine. I really am at loss of words to even convey affections and estimation about this Book, there is no way I can do justice in explaning what I have learned from this Book.
Especially the vibrant, rich and tempting description of Paradise we studied in the Surah Rahman and Al Waqiyah, the dark green gardens, the rivers, the thrones woven with ornament, the fruits of every kind really opened my eyes. Allah has prepared for us such an impressive and delightful permanent place in Paradise and still we are chasing after the small petty transient things of this world. The moment I was reading these verses, I want to leap all bounds, break all barriers and go to Paradise this very instant. The world, and all its pleasures combined is not worth the time, effort and concern we waste on it.
I was thinking how people plan for their vacations, they check the resorts online, read all the information, brochures and pamphlets, view the pictures, book their ticket and tell their children to pack. Paradise is not a vacation but a final destination. All the information about Paradise is in the Qur’an, from the living accommodations to cuisine, the breath-taking screen and charming company, even the feelings of the people of Paradise is uncovered. They will have no headache, they ill not suffer from any intoxication, they will hear no ill speech or see any sin. Shouldn’t we tell our families and book our tickets to Paradise?
The real charm of Paradise, sort of like icing on cake is this verse in Surah al Qamar: The righteous, mutaqqi will be in a seat of honour near Allah the Maleek.
فِي مَقْعَدِ صِدْقٍ عِندَ مَلِيكٍ مُّقْتَدِرٍ
The righteous, mutaqqi will be in a seat of honour near Allah the Maleek. The luxuries of Paradise, just the opportunity to be with Allah, close to Him is enough reason to for anyone to want, to plan, and to work for Paradise. But as we get ready for this trip, make sure you take others along with your, your family, relatives, neighbours everyone you know and come in contact with. Leave no person behind inshaAllah :)
With all my love and du'as
Asfiya Irfan
