Assalam-o-alaikum ustazah,

Every time i see a huge truck with too many wheels, i am amazed, impressed and intimidated by the size, the strength and the coordination of parts of such a vehicle. Once i asked a (silly) question from my Husband, “Why so many wheels, why not, just a few strong wheels?” He said, “Look at the load that these trucks carry, a few wheels would burst under this load.”
I realised that the huge load is divided among all these wheels. (Of course, this was common sense.) But that brought to mind the ayahs:

Truly, we did offer Al Amânah (the trust or moral responsibility or honesty and All the duties which Allâh has ordained) to the heavens and the earth, and the mountains, but they declined to bear it and were afraid of it (i.e. afraid of Allâh's torment). but man bore it. Verily, He was unjust (to himself) and ignorant (of its results). [Al Ahzab 72]


..had we sent down This Qur'ân on a mountain, You would surely have seen it humbling itself and rending asunder by the fear of Allâh. such are the parables which we put forward to mankind that they may reflect. [Al Hashr 21]

By Default we Muslims have a duty to carry the Quran to all the people in the world. We are a wheel of a vehicle that will carry this huge Amanah and responsibility to the current and future generations. But there are different types of wheels.

Truck	18-30	1	Fast/Medium	6-8 spare	Maximum Load	If you are part of a large team, you can work for the benefit of everyone.

 

We can’t fulfill our duty of carrying on the message of the Prophet (SAW) alone and can’t do it with a bike, we have to join the team of wheels that run a huge truck and follow the leader/driver.
May Allah give us the Taqwa and Sabr to act like a wheel doing its job as told, without any hope of reward or recognition from anyone except Allah. Ameen
