Overall
Review:
We visited the children’s ward in the holy
family hospital. The five of us divided into two groups and visited
different wards. We went to each mother, asked them about their family,
from where they came, what was the problem with their child, what have
the doctor told them, for how long have they been in the hospital, were
they satisfied by the hospital staff. We backed them up, told them to be
hopeful about Allah’s help and tried our best to connect them with
Allah. We explained to them the importance and necessity of reading
Quran and understanding it. Before leaving each patient, we gave them
shifa cards, cassettes and pamphlets etc.
Response:
Everyone of them greeted us warmly. They were so happy see us. They were
so eager to know about their religion. They wanted us to sit next to
them and talk for hours. They sent us back with a lot of prayers.

are Allah's helpers…

COMMENTS
Saman Saleem:
I
had very different feelings when I met the people. I enjoyed a lot
because the people I met were very sweet and frank. That was really an
unforgettable experience for me. ALHUMDULILAH.
Sana Nawaz:
After meeting the children, I felt really grateful to Allah that He has
made me in perfect form. If He had wanted He could have involved me in
any disease, and I couldn’t have prevented it. I could really feel
Allah’s Greatness and Power after visiting the hospital. ALHUMDULILAH.
Sumera
Mumtaz:
When we went to the hospital and visited the children ward, I was
thinking that the people won’t take much interest in our talk but I got
a very positive response from them. When I gave them the shifa cards, I
saw hope in their eyes that this was the way. When we moved from one
patient to another, others were waiting to listen to the message of
Allah. I think that we should visit the hospital every month and
illuminate them with the light of Islam. This work was made much easier
with Allah’s Help.
ALHUMDULILAH.
AISHA
SAFEER:
It was my first experience to share others’ pain and worries. Before
going there, I didn’t had the slightest idea that how much people need
us. I don’t have the words to explain my condition when I saw the
mothers watching their children in pain, but when we encouraged them
and turned their thoughts towards Allah, I saw hope on their faces. I
was so happy to see their interest in further knowing their religion.
Everyone was so happy to meet us, especially when we gave them cards and
cassettes. I felt a new bond created with Allah. I felt really happy by
going there, I was spiritually so satisfied. Inshallah I plan to do the
same again because we never know that these people who came from such
distant places can be the source of spreading the light of Islam in
their areas. I feel that everyone has a seed of wellbeing buried in
their hearts, it only requires watering which is our job now. Inshallah
I plan to do further such visits. ALHUMDULILAH.
Sahar
Pervez:
This was my very first interaction with the people in the hospital. I
wasn’t sure about the type of response we will get but I was absolutely
amazed to see their hospitality, they talked with us as if we knew each
other very well. They were desperate for company. And I was further
amazed to see their quest for the knowledge for deen. I think visiting
hospital is an excellent opportunity to do iblaag. I would request the
community department to arrange further such visits with the students.
ALHUMDULILAH.
My welfare is only in Allah.
